    BalancedBody is a result-oriented program that allows you to stay accountable and build sustainable habits for long-term success. The program is designed to be your forever plan to help your body feel its best and guide you throughout your transformative journey. The information in this program uses an evidence-based approach to integrate current research for lasting lifestyle changes. Throughout the duration of the program, there are scheduled guest speakers, cooking demonstrations and accountability visits to help you stay on track and receive check in points to maintain your progress. Hand-crafted personalized meal and exercise plans that are geared towards your goals with accountability tracking tools makes this program unique. Additionally, Healthy U has created a small, safe, supportive and non-judgmental environment where you are able to build connections with like-minded and motivated individuals.
  • How often does the program run?
    Once the program start date has arrived, the program is structured to run weekly (every Tuesday) at 7:00pm EST.
  • What happens if the classes fall on a holiday?
    Classes will not be scheduled on statutory holidays and will resume the following week after we have taken the time to unplug and enjoy the holidays with friends and family!
  • What happens if I miss a class?
    No need to stress if you miss a class. All documents, videos and personalized plans for that week can be sent to you. You can also join the complimentary drop in session if you ever miss a class.
  • Will there be drop in sessions throughout the duration of the program?
    Absolutely! We will be offering 1 complimentary drop in session within the duration of the program, to answer any questions about missed content. The date and time of this drop in session is to be announced once determined.
  • Who will be running these weekly sessions?
    Alissa Steinberg will be leading the weekly sessions. She is a Registered Dietitian and Certified Diabetes Educator for over 12+ years. She is the founder and creator of Healthy U and the BalancedBody program. Working alongside her is Sarah Fallavollita, a Personal Trainer for 5 years who designed and created all the exercise content and weekly personalized plans for each of you. She will not be part of the live stream component of the program.
  • When is the best time to start the program?
    There is no right time to start this program, anytime is the best time.
  • Does insurance cover the cost of the program?
    We highly encourage all clients to check in with their insurance provider to inquire about covering the costs of this program or receiving a reimbursement. It is all dependent on your coverage plan.
  • Can my family members also follow this program? E.g. Do I need to cook separately?
    Anyone can follow this program. Throughout the program, you will receive personalized meal and exercise plans specalized towards your target weight goal, but this does not mean that your family members cannot also incorporate some changes into their lifestyle. There are no drastic or unrealistic changes being encouraged.
