Lentil Protein Burgers

Prep Time: 20 min - Cook Time: 30 min - Total Time: 50 min


Ingredients:
  • 2 tsp extra-virgin olive oil

  • 1 medium onion, diced small

  • 3/4 tsp ground cumin

  • 1-pound lean ground beef or ground chicken breast

  • 5 cups cooked lentils

  • 3 tbsp ground flax

  • 1 large egg

  • 2 tablespoons cilantro, chopped

  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper

Instructions:
  1. Pre-heat oven 375°F

  2. Mix ingredients together, and form into 8 patties, and place on a baking tray

  3. Bake for 30 minutes
