Slow Cooker Vegetable Soup

Ingredients:

1 ½ cups dried chickpeas

900 mL vegetable broth

400 mL tomato sauce

450g ground chicken

5 carrots, peeled & chopped

2 peppers, chopped

2 red onions chopped

2 garlic cloves, chopped

2 tbsp Healthy U Mexican Spice

Alternative to Healthy U Mexican Spice

1 tsp garlic powder

1⁄2 tsp crushed red pepper flakes

1⁄2 tsp dried oregano

2 tsp paprika

1 tsp ground cumin

1⁄2 tsp salt & black pepper

1⁄2 ground cinnamon

1⁄2 ground cloves

1-2 tbsp oil

½ tsp salt




Instructions:
  1. Combine all the ingredients on the slow cooker pot

  2. Cook for 5 hours on high.

  3. During this time you’re free to do other things and do not have to watch it while it cooks!
