Crispy Tofu Cubes

Prep time: 10 minutes - Cook time: 5 minutes - Total time: 15 minutes

  • 1 brick extra firm / firm tofu

  • 1-2 tbsp soy sauce

  • Starch mixture: 2 tbsp tapioca or arrowroot flour, 1 tsp garlic powder, ¼ tsp salt

  • 2-3 tbsp sesame oil

  • Toppings: sesame seeds & green onions

  1. Wrap firm tofu with paper towel. Place a plate on top of the wrapped tofu and press down to remove extra liquid.

  2. Chop tofu into cubes. Coat with soy sauce.

  3. In a separate bowl, mix all starch mixture ingredients.

  4. Coat tofu cubes in starch mixture.

  5. In a pan on medium heat, heat sesame oil and then add tofu cubes. Continuously flip cubes for 5 minutes.

  6. Top with sesame seeds and green onions, and enjoy!
