Asian Chicken Lettuce Wraps

Ingredients:

2 tbsp of sesame oil

1 white onion

2 garlic cloves

1 tbsp of fresh ginger, chopped

1 tbsp of soy sauce

1 tbsp of Healthy U China spice

Alternative to Healthy U China Spice

2 tsp sichuan peppercorns

2 tsp ground anise

1⁄2 tsp ground cloves

1 tsp ground cinnamon

1 tsp ground fennel seeds

¼ cup of green onions, chopped

¼ cup of Cilantro, chopped

¼ cup of Peanuts, crushed

Also used:

1 red pepper, sliced thinly

1 pound of Extra Lean Chicken

Boston lettuce



Instructions:
  1. In a pan on medium heat, add sesame oil and onions. Saute until soft.

  2. Add Healthy U China spice, garlic, ginger, soy sauce and red peppers.

  3. Then add in diced Ground chicken, Peanuts, green onions and cilantro, until cooked thoroughly, around 5-8 minutes

  4. Add a scoop of mixture into each lettuce wrap, sprinkle with some extra peanuts
