Cheesy Pizza Dough (Low Carb, High Protein)

Prep time: 5 minutes - Cook time: 14-18 minutes - Total time: 19-23 minutes


Dough Ingredients:

  • 1 cup mozzarella, shredded

  • 1 cup almond flour

  • 1 egg

  • Optional: pinch of salt

Toppings (Optional):

  • 2-3 garlic cloves, minced

  • 2 tbsp EVOO

  • ¾ cup canned whole tomatoes, squeeze into a sauce

  • ¼ cup fresh basil leaves

  • Fresh sun-dried tomatoes

  • ½ cup mozzarella cheese, cut into sticks

  1. Combine mozzarella cheese and almond flour in a bowl.

  2. Heat mixture in a microwave for 60 seconds. Once complete, add egg and salt.

  3. Once well combined, place a sheet of parchment paper on a baking sheet. Add dough and place another sheet of parchment paper on top. Roll dough using a rolling pin.

  4. Top with your favourite ingredients and bake at 400F for 14-18 minutes (broil for the last 30 seconds for a crispy experience).
