Chocolate Mousse Berry Frozen Treat

Who says fruit or veggies need to be boring? Let's dress up our menu with this chocolatey frozen mousse treat that's easy, fun, and family-approved. It's high in protein, rich in fibre and calcium, and made with whole ingredients to keep you on track with your health goals while totally satisfying your sweet tooth!


Prep time: 15 minutes

Total time: 4 hours and 15 minutes (includes freezing time)


Serves: 8 servings (5 g of protein per serving)

Ingredients
  • 2 cups strawberries, halved (or any fruit you love!)

  • 2 cups vanilla greek yogurt

  • ½ cup melted chocolate

  • ¼ cup natural peanut butter

  • 2 tbsp mini dark chocolate chips



Directions
  1. Line a sheet pan with parchment paper.

  2. Slice up your fruit. Using a wooden stick, arrange 4-5 pieces of fruit through the stick.

  3. In a bowl, mix greek yogurt and the melted chocolate. Mix to combine.

  4. Lay out the fruit sticks on the sheet pan and using a piping bag, cover the fruit sticks with the chocolate mixture.

  5. Drizzle on top peanut butter.

  6. Sprinkle mini chocolate chips.

  7. Freeze for 4 hours.
