Big Mac Tacos

Prep time: 20 minutes - Cook time: 10 minutes - Total time: 30 minutes


Base Ingredients:

  • Lean ground beef

  • Cheddar cheese, sliced

  • Low-carb taco shells

  • Salt & olive oil

  • Optional: chopped pickles and white onions

Mac Sauce:

  • 1 cup of raw cashews, soaked for 90 minutes

  • ¼ cup of ketchup

  • 1 ½ tbsp of yellow mustard

  • 1-2 baby dill garlic pickles

  • ¼ tsp apple cider vinegar

  • ¼ tsp garlic powder

  • ¼ tsp onion powder

  • ⅛ tsp paprika

  1. Combine all sauce ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth. Set aside for later.

  2. Add a spoonful of raw, lean ground beef to a taco shell. Spread meat flat across the taco shell.

  3. Lightly coat a frying pan with salt and olive oil. Cook taco shells until ground beef is nicely browned. Top with cheddar cheese and cook until melted.

  4. Once cooked, top tacos with chopped pickles, onions, and mac sauce.
